Rihanna Looking for a New Mansion

Whether Rihanna is moving on remains to be seen. But she is moving on up.

The songbird, who has kept a relatively low profile since her alleged assault at the hands of boyfriend Chris Brown last month, reemerged in Los Angeles yesterday, where she began a house hunting tour of the Hollywood Hills with several friends.

Among the homes the “Disturbia” singer and her pals viewed was a $6.25 million property once owned by Jerry Seinfeld. The 5,913-square-foot home boasts three bedrooms, five bathrooms, a pool and hot tub and, seemingly most important, hilltop views of the city.

Blake Lively, who is on THREE, yes THREE magazine covers this month – but representatives for her are only loving two of them, according to Page Six.

“Her Vanity Fair and Cosmopolitan covers are great, but her camp is not thrilled about her Seventeen covers,” reports Page Six.

“Her rep felt the picture (above) looked nothing like Blake.

Lively’s flacked said she was not “over the moon” with Seventeen and called the magazine but her client wasn’t behind the call.

“Blake hasn’t even seen the shots yet,” said the rep.

Rihanna: Chris’ Mom Approves!

The hitmaking beauty made a trip to GBK Productions’ Fire & Ice gifting lounge for the BET Awards over the weekend with her boyfriend, fellow music hotshot Chris Brown and his mom, Joyce Hawkins.

Hawkins, according to a source, was overheard cooing, “Rihanna is the sexiest and sweetest girl Chris has ever dated.”

And for once, the superprivate lovebirds weren’t so private during their hour-or-so-long visit to the lounge. “They came through holding hands and kissing each other on the neck,” says the source.

Both Rihanna and Brown also took home their own $5,000 gold watches from Croton, Grace hats, handblown glass art from Robert Kaindl and iPod cases from Guilty Couture. Rihanna also grabbed three pairs of Australia Love Collective boots, including the Vixen, the Nomad and the Party Nomad and helped Brown pick out a couple of pairs of New Balance running shoes.

Sounds like a good day was had by all.

Now that newlyweds Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson Wentz have finally confirmed they’re expecting, papa-to-be Pete is ready to open up about the happy news.

“I’m excited to be a dad,” he told me at the Op clothing launch party Tuesday night, while admitting he was initially scared. “I’m a genuinely nervous person in general. The first time I ever went to the doctor’s office and heard the heartbeat, I felt totally content and at peace with everything. It feels good.”

Pete, who came without Ashlee, has a lot to celebrate these days. Besides his new marriage and baby on the way, the Fall Out Boy rocker has an MTV show in the works and turns 29 this Thursday. But he got an early surprise at the bash…

Pete was presented with a huge cake and serenaded by partygoers with an early Happy Birthday. Wilmer Valdarrama, also featured alongside Pete in the Op campaign, helped him blow out his candles.

Also on hand to celebrate the new ads: Kristin Cavallari, Rumer Willis, Corbin Bleu and Kim Kardashian.

Breakup rumors be darned: On Saturday, Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo looked every bit the happy couple at N9NE Steakhouse in Dallas. “They were holding hands, in a good mood and happy,” a source tells people. “They looked like they were on a date together.”

The public display of affection was in keeping with the couple’s last high profile date – Simpson’s sister Ashlee’s wedding, where they were “kissing and holding hands throughout the night.”

Simpson and Romo shared a cozy corner booth in the restaurant where they “looked happy and were laughing and smiling,” the source said.

Romo ate a Kobe burger while Simpson tucked into a steak.

They also ran into Romo’s Dallas Cowboys teammate Isaiah Stanback and his parents, and “stopped to say hello to a guest on their way out and played with her beautiful baby girl,” before leaving together, all smiles.

In March the friendship between devout Christian Mel and the Toxic singer – who were once neighbours in Malibu – was revealed when they were spotted dining together.
