Beyoncé shows off some new (temporary?) tattoo Saturday in New York. The singer, who recently released a teaser to her latest video, had husband Jay-Z’s neighborhood, Brooklyn, etched on her left hand.
Beyonce charges around town with at least half a dozen bruisers flanking her but it emerged daring Beyonce Knowles decided to take the plunge at her gig at the 02 over the weekend, putting her fate in the hands of her fans and diving off stage.
The Sasha Fierce star’s shock crowd-surf came during the finale of her free concert for fans at London’s 02 Arena on Sunday, when she decided to get as close a possible to her adoring fans.
It was certainly an avant garde look for the R&B star, and one which has the Haus of GaGa stamped all over it.

Did pop diva Beyonce Knowles and Destiny’s Child rip off a Chicago songwriter’s song? A copycat claim contained in a 2006 lawsuit is expected to land the “Bootylicious” sensation in a witness chair next month as part of a copyright infringement trial to be held in Chicago’s federal courthouse. In dispute is a song titled “Cater 2 U” released by Destiny’s Child in a 2004 compilation called “Destiny Fulfilled.” The video features sultry scenes of the musical trio proclaiming: “Whatever you desire, I’ll aspire.” Read the rest of this entry »
The couple splashed the cash as they enjoyed lunch at New York’s upmarket restaurant Nello’s, while sipping glasses of Dom Perignon.
And barely an eyebrow was raised when the bill arrived – for a whopping $1,200 – with the generous pair even opting to leave a further $500 tip.
The musical duo reportedly dined on white truffles and lobster salad, while ten bodyguards looked on, earlier this week.
The restaurant is not for the cash-strapped, with Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich reportedly spending $47,000 on a lunch there recently.
The Chelsea Football Club owner’s bill included an automatic gratuity of 20 per cent – $7,328 – but he is believed to have chipped in with an extra $5,000, bringing the tip to 26 per cent.
